Sandwiches are a meal I turn to when I’m hungry.  It’s something I make numerous times a week and always seems to be the main food served for all those family memories by the lake house.  It’s the food we package up to bring to the docks and enjoy a picnic in the sand.

It’s the food we bring on summer boating trips and long car rides to the cabin.  It’s the food we serve next to burgers at all our family barbecues.

Picnic Sandwiches

Each sandwich is individually packed with fresh vegetables, lettuce and deli meat that pairs beautifully with pre-sliced and ready to use Sargento® Sliced Cheese from Kroger.

The basics of sandwiches are pretty simple; bread, meat and cheese.  Add in addition fillings and there are just so many possibilities!  Whether it’s a variety of sandwiches, a juicy grilled burger or a wrap with all the fixings, the possibilities are endless when pairing it with Sargento® Sliced Cheese.

Oh how clever! These look so delicious and portable, perfect fare for a picnic. Though I don’t eat meat, I would definitely make a meatless version of the apple cheddar sandwich – it’s a classic combo!

The Cheddar BLT sounds awesome. I love avocado on my sandwiches. These look amazing and some would be awesome as a panini with melted cheese.

I’m a weirdo and don’t really like sandwiches, so I just do PB&J for me. The rest of my family is normal, though ;). They favor ham & cheese.
