Silk Almondmilk® Taste Challenge
I’m a Silk Vanilla Almondmilk® fan. I love the delicious taste of Silk a lot. I use it daily in cereal, healthy fruit and protein shakes, baking and I also use it in dinner recipes. However, just because I use it doesn’t mean that everyone I know has tried Silk Almondmilk®.
Since I love baking and hosting dinner parties, I thought this would be a great time to introduce my family and friends to Silk Almondmilk. I’m already using it everyday and my family should know how good it tastes!
For this dinner party, I cooked food as I normally do. I made Chicken Pot Pie Puff Pastries with mashed potatoes, corn muffins and for dessert, an assorted bunch of cookies to dunk into milk. Let the taste challenge begin!
The recipes I used all call for milk to which I used Silk Vanilla Almondmilk® and Silk Almondmilk Unsweetened Original®. Incorporating this kind of milk was a lot of fun. I was excited to see how much my friends and family really loved Silk.
It’s very special being able to host a dinner party for family and friends. The night of the dinner party my mom helped me set up everything for my friends. I baked as normal but replaced traditional milk with Silk Almondmilk® in the chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and corn muffins. I let everyone know that I was adapting recipes and wanted to know what they thought. Hands down, it was the best meal ever! My mom went on to say that everything was much creamier and tasted wonderful with the addition of Almondmilk. They absolutely love the taste of this milk. You know it’s a good party when all the food is gone!
Dessert was an assortment of cookies and glasses filled with Silk Vanilla Almondmilk®. Taking the taste challenge was a lot of fun. By the end of the night the cookies where gone and the milk was finished. I cannot think of a better way to have a taste test than with Almondmilk and cookies.
Friends and family love the taste of Silk Almondmilk®. Now, a few weeks later I’ve got everyone in my family and a few friends hooked on it. Making the switch is great for a number of reasons. Simply replace any traditional milk in a recipe with Silk with no problems. Silk offers a wide range of Almondmilk flavors that everyone will love.
Adding Silk Vanilla Almondmilk® to my morning fruit shake is my favorite. Also, I love how long Silk lasts without going bad in the refrigerate. Going out of town for a few days is awesome knowing that when I return, I don’t have to dump otherwise traditional milk down the drain. With Silk, It keeps for over a month! For those occasional and everyday milk drinkers, Silk Almondmilk® is the way to go!
