The end of 2013 is coming and with that said, Swanky Recipes is featuring a list of delicious breakfast/brunch recipes for the holidays. With Christmas here in a few days and all other holiday baking either done or ready to bake, breakfast is being planned. This year I am over 1,000 miles away from home. It’s officially my first holiday away from home which has left me to all the baking and cooking for friends. I left Milwaukee, Wisconsin before the snow started to fall and walked into warm weather down south. It does not quite feel like the holidays yet because it’s 80 degrees here in New Orleans. I’m missing the snow — but it’s not a bad thing!
On Christmas eve, it is tradition that I head home and sleep at my parent’s home with my sister and brother. Christmas morning my mom has a gourmet breakfast ready. This year I will be following the same tradition with friends. These recipes will also be great for New Years Day 2014! Here are a few things I will be baking for holiday breakfast.
Happy holidays and best wishes from my family to yours!
