Puff Pastry Pockets
Frozen puff pastry sheets filled with beef and cheese. They are then sealed in an egg wash and baked until golden brown. Ready in 30 minutes or less!

Ingredients

puff pastry squares
, thawed
1
egg
6
slices
Swiss cheese or Provolone cheese
12
slices
pastirma
1/2
tablespoon
sesame seeds and nigella seeds
Instructions
Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.
Line an oven tray with baking paper.
Separate egg white and save the egg yolk to use.
Put 1 slice cheese in the middle of puff pastry square.
Place two slices of pastirma on it.
Fold it in a triangle shape.
Seal it with your fingers.
Place the pastry pockets on it.
Whisk egg yolk and brush egg on pockets.
Sprinkle with nigella and sesame seeds on top.
Bake until golden, about 20 minutes.
Notes
*Filling can be any meat, cheese, vegetable desired.
