  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

  • 3/4 cup Caramel Bits
  • 2 ounces (8 squares) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped

  • In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and stir with a whisk then set aside. In a large bowl fitted with a mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla extract, sour cream and milk/cream. Slowly add dry ingredients. Using a spatula, stir in caramel bits and chopped chocolate. Using a cookie scoop, scoop dough and roll into balls then roll in sugar and place on cookie sheet.
