Tropical pineapple smoothie with fresh pineapple, yogurt, honey and juice. Serve over chopped ice to make this a cool refreshment.
- 2 cups fresh pineapple , chopped
- 1/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt/greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup pineapple or orange juice
- 1/2 cup coconut milk , optional
- 1 cup ice
- pineapple wedges for garnish if desired
In a blender, combine chopped pineapple and juice and blend well until smooth. Add yogurt, honey and banana and blend until smooth. Lastly, add ice and blend well until smooth; about 1-2 minutes.
*Add 1/2 coconut milk to make this a tropical smoothie, if desired.
