Baked NOT Fried
I love a food recipe that is baked and not fried like the traditional one. Since I have been living in New Orleans the past 6 months, I have come to notice a big change in restaurant food. Now, the South is traditionally known for it’s outstanding comfort food. And I have to agree, most of it is pretty delicious. However, I cannot seem to find a restaurant that serves cheese sticks. In fact, 90 percent of the entire menu is seafood. Always. I cannot catch a break. Maybe it is because I’m a Midwestern girl who loves her cheese? Wisconsin cheese to be exact! If you are anything like me, you will love these. The outer stick is breaded in panko crumbs and gives it just the perfect amount of crunch to these popular appetizer snacks.
