Caramel Chocolate Sugar Cookies with Kraft
I’m always baking cookies to find the ultimate soft and chewy sugar cookie recipe. I’m happy to say, I’ve found it. I’m a cookie fanatic, so when I saw Kraft® Caramel Bits I knew I wanted an insanely soft and chewy sugar cookie with Kraft® Semi-Sweet Baker’s Chocolate®. The Baker’s Chocolate® compliments the sugar cookie very well. The perfect amount of sweetness in the cookie with bits of soft caramel and little chocolate chunks.
The holidays are right around the corner and homemade mason jar cookie mixes are all the rage this season. Trendy gift jars stuffed with cookies, baking ingredients and attached with a recipe is the perfect gift to give your loved ones this holiday. Anyone that knows me, knows I love making my own gifts for my family and friends.
Mason jars gifts are a thoughtful way to give gifts during the holidays. Each gift is personalized with the person’s favorite cookies, mixes and baking ingredients. I also like to include kitchen items like spatulas, cookie sheets and coffee mugs. I top the gift off with a recipe and a personal ornament.
Edible gifts are always one of the most popular gifts to give during the holidays. Nothing is more special than getting a gift with ingredients to bake with family on a cold and snowy winter day. Make this year special and include a gift that will get used.
During the holidays it seems like everyone is baking! Have you ever looked at the selection of baking items that go on sale this time of year?
Of course everyone is baking for the holidays and family parties. It’s a baker’s dream! I love stocking up on baking items during this time.
If you’re looking to save money on gifts this year, then this is the perfect gift to make. It’s a great inexpensive gift for neighbors, teachers, nieces and nephews and friends. It’s easy to make too! Start by measuring out 1/2 cup Caramel Bits and place it on the bottom in the jar. Next, include about 2 ounces or half of a bar of Baker’s Chocolate®. Now top it off with some fresh baked cookies and include the recipe in the card or make a cute printable and tie it with some holiday ribbon! I love giving this gift because it allows families to bond over baking. Plus, the jars are reusable and resealable. Gifts like these always create conversation and everyone will love them.
Each jar is stuffed with enough baking goods to make about 15-20 cookies.
This festive holiday recipe uses Baker’s Chocolate and Kraft® Caramel Bits. Both baking items can be found in the baking aisle of the grocery store. I got mine from Walmart®. Walmart® has a great selection of baking goods at low prices.
This simple recipe is easy to make. To make this recipe, cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in an egg and vanilla. Slowly add the separate bowl of dry ingredients into the wet and beat until fluffy.
Once cookie batter is mixed and fluffy, remove bowl. Stir in Kraft® Caramel Bits and chopped Semi-Sweet Baker’s Chocolate®.
Using a cookie scoop, form 1-inch balls and roll dough in a bowl of sugar then place on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

YUM! You can’t go wrong with Baker’s Chocolate! What a great gift for friends and neighbors. I love that, while inexpensive, a homemade gift is so thoughtful, especially around the holidays. #client
Just fyi, the recipe at the end doesn’t state when to add the dry ingredients. Since I am an experienced baker, I didn’t have an issue. However someone who is new to baking, especially cookies, will probably have a little freakout.
Ahh, sorry about that, it’s updated now!
