We’re just a few weeks away from Christmas and the holiday season is in full swing. Last week I hosted the first holiday party of the season and I’m already looking forward to the next one.
Since I can remember, my mom used to make a holiday punch with a vibrant array of fruit and warm spices. This year, I wanted to bring back those special memories and create a beverage that my southern friends would love. Not only has this Jingle Juice Punch been a hit in our house, but I even got my friends in the Mid-West making it!
The key to creating a vibrant drink to serve to guests is to make it with festive cranberry and rosemary ice cubes like I’ve used in this recipe. I froze a couple berries and a few springs of rosemary in each tray then added it to the punch before serving. The beautiful red and green color truly pops out with this beverage and guests love it. I’m also using Milo’s Tea to add a truly delicious fresh brewed taste to this drink. The tea features natural ingredients with no preservatives, which makes it one of my go to drinks to serve for the holidays.
This punch couldn’t be any easier to prepare. It’s made with Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea, Milo’s Lemonade and cranberry juice. Milo’s Tea is carried throughout a lot of grocery stores in the south and I know my mom can even get it in the Mid-West. I found Milo’s at my local Rouse’s in the refrigerated juice and dairy section but they are available at lots of retailers. Find a store near you by using the store locator.
What I love about Milo’s Tea is that it’s sweetened with pure cane sugar. It’s been a southern staple since I moved here a few years ago and I always have it stocked in my fridge. This holiday season, I’ll be serving a variety of Milo’s Tea products that include options like unsweetened tea, lemonade and pure cane sugar tea. Other options include a tea and lemonade mix as well as a no calorie option for guests this holiday season.
When it comes to hosting parties for the holidays, I like to plan ahead and get all my shopping done at least a week to five days in advance. This allows myself more time to do last minute things before the party.
Decide what can get done ahead of time. Slicing fruits, shredding cheese, cutting up vegetables and making pitchers full of drinks can all be done a day or two in advance.
It goes without saying- we eat with our eyes first therefore, you’ll want to include appetizing food. I love to include fresh veggies and fruit, savory dips and a few small bite sized food options. Of course, a variety of Milo’s Tea beverages will make the perfect beverage spread to keep the party going.
No holiday party is complete without Milo’s Tea. The company continues to source only natural ingredients and freshly brews all their teas. They never have added colors, acids, additives or preservatives. If you’re looking to impress your guests, be sure to head to the store and pick up this high-quality, award winning tea.
Jingle Juice is the perfect drink to share with loved ones this holiday season. Large batches can be made ahead of time in a pitcher and served the next day.
