Rich, chocolaty Nutella fudge cheesecake brownies. A classic brownie recipe with a hint of hazelnut Nutella and cheesecake. These brownies are such a classic staple to have when craving a sweet chocolaty dessert. You have got to be a chocolate fan to enjoy these because they are loaded with chocolaty goodness. They are easy to make and are made in one bowl without a mixer. Enjoy it as a frozen brownie bar or warm it in the microwave. Enjoy with a scoop of ice cream and a glass of milk.
Ingredients
Brownies
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
¾ cup butter, cut into pieces
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
¼ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Cheesecake
2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1 cup granulated Sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup Nutella spread
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9×13 baking pan with foil and grease foil.
For the Brownies-
In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa and salt. Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract; mix well. Then gradually beat in flour mixture. Spread batter into prepared pan.
For the Cheesecake-
In the bowl of an electric mixture, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and beat well to combine. Add vanilla extract and beat until combined. Slightly melt Nutella in a microwave safe bowl. Drop spoonfuls of Nutella over the brownie batter and gently spread with a spatula. Pour cheesecake over brownie/Nutella batter.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until center is set. Cool completely on a wire rack and then chill in the refrigerator overnight and until ready to serve or store in the freezer for a few hours.
